VANAMCOVE Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have — in plain language.
1. Who we are
VANAMCOVE is an independent travel planning service. We prepare personalized weekend plans for you — we are not a travel agency, tour operator or booking platform. When you opt-in to planning, we do the research; you make bookings directly with the providers whose links we share. This service is free to you — we are paid a small commission by booking partners when you book through our links (see our Affiliate Disclosure).
2. What we collect
We do collect data — only the information needed to plan your travel. Every detail we ask for is required to build a proper plan: your destination, your dates, your budget, your travel style, your group size, any notes you share, and a way to reach you with the finished plan:
- Name and contact details (name, email address, phone number) — so we can send you your plan and follow up with you.
- Planning preferences — budget, preferred dates and duration, travel style, destination hints and any free-text notes you share (group size, interests, must-haves). These are needed to build a plan that actually works for you.
- Basic usage information — if you browse the site, hosting logs may record standard technical data (pages visited, browser type, timestamps). We do not use this to build profiles about you.
Submitting your data to us is your choice. You can opt not to submit it at all — browsing the site and reading our guides requires no personal information, and the planning service itself is entirely optional.
The planning form itself is hosted by Google Forms. Information you type there is also governed by Google's own privacy terms, which we encourage you to review. We do not collect payment details — your first draft and 2 iterations are free, and any paid refinement (₹50 per further iteration) is handled separately, so no payment information is ever requested or stored here.
3. Why we collect it — and nothing else
The data you share is used for one purpose: planning your trip with you. That means building your personalized day-by-day plan, refining it (first draft + 2 iterations free, per our Terms), and following up with you about your plan. We never sell, rent or trade your data, and we never use it for direct marketing to you. We do use Google Ads for advertising: Google's advertising services may process and use data in ways that are outside our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any third-party usage of your data.
4. When we share data — only if you confirm a booking
We share your information only in these situations:
- With a booking provider, only after you confirm a booking with them. In that case we pass the minimum needed for the booking (typically your name, contact details, guest numbers and dates) directly to that provider. This is done to complete the booking you asked for — nothing more.
- With Google, as the company hosting the planning form you submit. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. We also use Google Ads for advertising — Google may use data for its advertising services under its own policies, which is outside our control. We are not responsible for any third-party usage of your data.
- Where required by law, such as a valid legal request from a court or regulator.
Booking platforms, hotels and activity providers have their own privacy policies, which govern their handling of your data once you deal with them directly. We encourage you to read them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party providers.
5. Where your data is stored and how it is protected
Your planning details are held in our email and document tools (Google Workspace) and in the Google Forms responses, all protected by reasonable administrative and technical safeguards such as access controls and encryption in transit. While we take reasonable measures, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and you share details at your own discretion.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your planning data only as long as it is needed to serve your plan and follow up on it. When a planning conversation ends, or when you ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Section 8) and we will do so promptly.
7. Your choice — this is opt-in, always
Using VANAMCOVE planning is entirely your choice. It is an opt-in, at-will service: you can stop using it, stop responding, or withdraw from a plan at any point and for any reason, with no penalty and no obligation. You can also choose not to submit your data to us at all — browsing the site and reading our guides needs no personal information from you. Stopping is as simple as telling us — no forms, no lock-in.
8. Your rights over your data
- Access and correction — ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data, and we will do so.
- Withdraw consent — tell us to stop processing your data for planning; we will.
You can make any of these requests — connect with us. We respond to all requests promptly.
9. Children
Our service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our site and plans contain links to third-party websites — booking platforms, hotels, activity providers and information sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies and are not controlled by us. Once you leave our site, their policies apply.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted here. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
