Reiek Tlang lies in the Mamit district of Mizoram at about 1,548 m, 35 km from Aizawl and 15 km from Sairang — the trek peak of the region, its 2-hour climb, the village and the views set on the Mizoram's west ridge.

History & culture

The peak's story runs with the 1986 tourist-era — the trek peak of the Reiek village and the 1986-era tourist lodge life, with the peak's modern role as the day-trek stop of the Aizawl circuit and the home of the 2-hour climb and the Mizo village and the 4-state views; the peak's history of the 2018 cable project and the cloud-walk mornings and the forest trails, gives Reiek its trek-peak character.
