Lava-Lolegaon lie in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal at about 2,200 m, 35 km from Kalimpong and 100 km from Siliguri — the birding twin-settlements of the region, its pine forests, the Neora gate and the viewpoints set on the Neora valley's ridge.
