Lambasingi stands 3,600 ft up in the Eastern Ghats of the Alluri Sitarama Raju district, about 100 km from Visakhapatnam and 45 km from the chintapalli turn — a high plateau of coffee fields, eucalyptus and cloud forest, styled 'Kashmir of Andhra' for its frosty winter mornings.
