History & culture
The park's story runs with the cheetah reintroduction of 2022 — the site chosen for the project's return of the cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa, with the park's history as the old hunting ground of the Gwalior state and its modern role as the second home of the Asiatic cheetah; the park's story of the Kuno river's valley and the forest corridors, gives Kuno NP its cheetah-reserve character.
