Geography & terrain

Kalatop lies in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh at about 2,440 m, 6 km from Dalhousie and 100 km from Pathankot — the forest reserve of the Dhauladhar's slopes, its deodar woods and the treks set on the ridge above the valleys.
