Geography & terrain

Bangaram is a small coconut willow in the Lakshadweep sea, 459 km from Kochi and about 10 km off Agatti's lagoon — an island of white coral sand and turquoise shallows, the archipelago's most romantic scrap of land.

History & culture

The island's resort story is legend-wrapped — a dream-castaway isle where visitors arrive by boat or helicopter from Agatti; its earlier centuries were a quiet copra-and-tuna way station of the islanders' world.
