Athirapally Falls is a 24 m waterfall on the Chalakudy river in Kerala's Thrissur district, at the edge of the Western Ghats' Sholayar forests — a wide curtain of water in a rainforest bowl 60 km east of Kochi.

The falls gained movie fame (the rain-song and the river-battle scenes were shot here) — a cultural landmark on Kerala's film map as much as its nature map.
